Jamaal Raushan Photography officially launched in 2011—after a few name changes, some lessons learned, and a LOT of growth. One thing that’s never changed? A strong belief in excellent customer service. About 70% of my business comes from word of mouth, which tells me I’m doing something right… and that my clients talk (in a good way).

I specialize in weddings, events, and portraits—but if you ask past clients what I’m really known for, it’s probably my personality. I talk, I joke, I read the room. I know when to bring the energy and when to step back. That comfort matters, especially during events, because people relax when they feel like they’re around someone they trust. It ends up feeling less like “some guy with a camera” and more like your favorite cousin just happens to take amazing photos. And lets be honest, I AM the favorite cousin.
